(Alexandria, LA) – Heart of Hospice – Central Louisiana announces the addition of Medical Director, Micah Pippin, MD, and Hospice Team Physicians Ernesto Garcia, MD and Jane Singh, MD. All three new team members will help support Heart of Hospice’s steady growth and ensure their ability to provide patients with the quality care they deserve.
Dr. Pippin, member of the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP), will join Heart of Hospice – Central Louisiana as the Medical Director. The Medical Director will oversee patient care at the central Louisiana location and help coordinate with other physicians and team members. He received his MD from Tulane University of Medicine in 2013 and completed his residency at LSUHSC-S Family Medicine in 2016. Currently, Dr. Pippin works with LSUHSC-S Family Medicine Residency Program as the Medical Director RRM Cardiac Rehab and Associate Program Director. He has been presented the Magnolia Award for Faculty of the year twice. Dr. Pippin has an array of certifications in Life Support, REMS, and Addiction Medicine.
Dr. Ernesto Garcia, MD and Dr. Jane Singh, MD will join Heart of Hospice – Central Louisiana as team physicians. Dr. Ernesto Garcia received his MD from Ponce School of Medicine in Puerto Rico and completed his residency at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, Massachusetts. He has ABIM Board Certifications in Internal Medicine and in Diplomat in Sleep Medicine. He currently serves as the Medical Director for Kindred at Home and as Chief of the Internal Medicine Department at Christus Cabrini Hospital.
Dr. Jane Singh, MD is Board Certified in Family Medicine and received her MD from American University of Antigua in Antigua, West Indies. She is currently a Resident Physician for LSUHSC-S Family Medicine and a member of AAFP.
